Changing your email address

Change your email in Settings › Account. The change takes effect when you confirm it from your email.

  1. Open the account menu (your name at the top of the sidebar) and choose Settings.
  2. In Account, under Email, enter the new address in Change email.
  3. Select Verify change.
  4. Open the confirmation email titled Confirm your Scriptr email change and select the link.

Until you confirm, your old address stays the one you sign in with.

Good to know

  • For your security, Scriptr may also ask you to confirm the change from your current address. If so, open both emails.
  • Invitations to Projects are tied to an email address. If someone invited your old address, ask them to invite your new one.
