Handing your work to an agent

Hand off

1. In Script or Story, open the export icon in the header.
2. Choose Hand off to an agent.

Scriptr downloads the Markdown straight away and names the file in a short notice. There is no studio to go through, no model call, no connection set-up and no credits used.

The hand-off includes the text and its structure. To include characters, places and stable IDs, use Export… → Structured Markdown instead.

Give it to your agent

Attach or upload the file to your AI assistant, and tell it what you want. For example: Read the attached screenplay. In the scene where Dalia finds the photograph, is her motivation clear?

Because every scene and chapter carries a stable ID, an assistant can refer back to exactly the one it means.

What it contains, and what it doesn’t

It contains only what you have access to. It never includes Co-writer conversations, comments, notes or other people’s drafts. See Agent-ready Markdown.

Your rights

The file carries the rights notice you chose. Check your agent’s terms on how it uses what you give it.
