Upgrading, downgrading and cancelling
Upgrades can start straight away. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
Manage your plan in Settings → Billing, or Settings → Plan & usage.
Upgrade
Upgrading, for example from Writer to Director, can take effect straight away. Any difference for the rest of the period is calculated for you. The new plan starts once the payment is confirmed.
Downgrade
Moving to a cheaper plan takes effect at your next renewal. You keep your current plan until then, with no mid-period credit or refund. Settings shows the change, for example: Your plan changes to Writer on 14 November 2026. Director stays active until then.
To move to Free, choose Switch to Free. That also takes effect at renewal.
Cancel
- Open Settings → Billing.
- Choose Cancel at period end and confirm.
Your paid plan continues until the end of the period you have paid for, then your account moves to Free. Settings shows the date, for example Your Writer plan ends on 14 November 2026.
Changed your mind? Choose Keep and your plan’s name, for example Keep Writer, any time before that date.
