Writing appearance in Story
Choose the face your prose is written in, and the White, Warm, Dark or System environment around it.
Story’s typeface
Open Settings → Appearance. Under writing appearance, choose:
- Scriptr Editorial: a serif, for writing that feels like a printed page;
- Scriptr Sans: a clean sans-serif.
Each is previewed in its own face. The choice is yours alone: it doesn’t change what collaborators see or how Story exports.
Screenplays always use Courier Prime, so the choice doesn’t apply to Script.
The environment
Choose White, Warm, Dark or System for the whole app. See Appearance and themes.
Saving
Choose Save changes in the bar at the foot of Settings. If you close Settings with unsaved changes, Scriptr asks first.
