Co-writer, AI and your work
Co-writer sends only what a request needs to the AI service that runs it, uses one project at a time, and changes nothing until you accept.
Some Scriptr features use AI: Co-writer, short summaries of your scenes, the recognition of characters, places and facts in your writing, and, where you use them, Voice Studio and generation.
What is sent
When you use an AI feature, Scriptr sends the minimum project content and context that request needs to the AI service that runs it, so it can return a result. For Co-writer, that is your request together with the context it needs, such as the scene or chapter you are in, summaries of other scenes, your Characters & Places and the decisions you asked Co-writer to keep.
Co-writer only ever uses one project per request.
Nothing changes without you
Nothing Co-writer suggests changes your project until you accept it. See Accepting or rejecting changes.
Training
Scriptr does not use your screenplays, stories or other creative project content to train a general-purpose Scriptr model. If that ever changes, we will update the Privacy Policy before it does.
AI service providers
Before we enable an AI service provider, we add it to the Privacy Policy’s list of service providers and check its terms on how long it keeps data and how it may use it. AI service providers may keep request data for a limited period under their own terms, for example to monitor for abuse.
Records we keep
For each AI request we keep an operational record: when it was made, which feature handled it, its size, whether it succeeded and how much context it used. These records don’t contain your writing.
Read the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
