Who owns your work

You keep ownership of your screenplays, stories, characters and anything you upload.

You keep ownership of your own screenplays, stories, characters, project content and the materials you upload. Scriptr doesn’t acquire ownership of anything because it was written, uploaded or processed in Scriptr.

What Scriptr is allowed to do with it

To run the service you ask for, Scriptr needs a limited licence to host, process, display, transmit and back up your work, including for the people you share it with, and to keep it secure. That includes sending the relevant parts to the service providers described in the Privacy Policy when a feature needs them. See the Terms.

Collaborators

When several people write a project together, Scriptr doesn’t decide who owns what between you. Agree that between yourselves, as you would on any production.

You can add a copyright notice to exported files. A notice isn’t registration, and it isn’t proof of ownership. See Copyright notices and credits.
