Private links and general access
A project’s link opens only for people with access. There is no public or ‘anyone with the link’ sharing.
General access
In Share, General access shows who can open the project:
- Only you have access: no one else has been invited.
- Restricted · Only invited people can access: the people listed under People with access.
There is no setting that opens a project to anyone with the link.
Copy private link
Copy private link copies the project’s address so you can paste it into an email or message. The link opens only for people who already have access. Anyone else who opens it is asked to sign in, and then told the project isn’t available to them.
A link never grants access by itself. To give someone access, invite them.
Sharing outside the project
- Review links in Production show a single take or a frozen version to anyone, with optional password and expiry. See Sharing a take or draft for review.
- Export creates a file you can send. See Exporting a screenplay.
