Generated images and uploaded images
Generated images live in Production media. Images you upload belong where you put them: a profile, a Whiteboard or a Scene Card.
Scriptr keeps two kinds of image apart: images it generated for you, and images you uploaded.
Generated images
Every image or video generated in Production is kept in Production media, with the shot, prompt and settings it came from. From there you can:
- set it as a character’s or place’s look;
- select it as a shot’s take;
- use it as a reference in later generations.
Uploaded images
Images you add from your device stay where you put them:
- on a Whiteboard, as part of the board;
- on a Scene Card, as one of its references;
- in a generation’s references, for that generation.
Upload only images you own or have permission to use.
Using one in the other
Whiteboard images can be added to a generation as references, using + or @ in the composer. That keeps your visual research and your generated film connected without copying anything.
See Using Whiteboard and Scene Cards.
