Following a generation
Generations run in the background through Queued, Generating, Processing and Ready. You can cancel before Processing.
Once you confirm, the generation becomes a job. It keeps running if you move to another shot, another part of the project or close the page.
The steps
| Step | What is happening |
|---|---|
| Queued | Waiting to start. |
| Generating | The model is making the take. |
| Processing | Scriptr is preparing the take for playback. |
| Ready | The take is in the shot. |
Each step shows a plain-language status. Scriptr doesn’t show percentages it can’t measure.
Where to see it
- In the shot, as a step track.
- In the top bar, as a count, for example 2 generating.
- Under Recent on Production Home.
Cancel
Choose Cancel while a job is Queued or Generating. Cancel isn’t offered once the take is Processing, because the result already exists.
When it’s ready
The take appears in the shot. Play it, compare it and select it if you want the draft to use it. See Reviewing and saving generated video.
