Choosing a model and settings
Let Auto choose, or pick a model yourself, then set the length, frame and style.
Auto
Auto is the default. It chooses a model for the shot and names it, with the reason, so you always know what will run. When Auto has chosen, the model’s mark replaces the Auto mark in the composer.
Choose a model yourself
Open the model menu. Recommended models come first; Other models opens a submenu. Hover over a model to read what it is good at, in plain words.
A model you can’t use stays in the list with the reason, for example that it needs a source clip or is unavailable right now.
Some models offer more ways to start than a text prompt, such as from an image or a clip. When they do, a From text menu appears in the composer header.
Settings
| Setting | Choices |
|---|---|
| Length | 3, 5, 6, 8 or 10 seconds (5 by default) |
| Frame | 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 or 2.39:1 (16:9 by default) |
| Resolution | 720p or 1080p (1080p by default) |
| Style | The project’s visual style, or the shot’s own |
Some models support only some of these; the composer shows what the chosen model offers.
Switching between Video and Image
Switching the composer from Video to Image keeps your prompt and characters. Only a clip reference needs changing to a frame.
The cost
The confirmation shows what the generation will cost before it runs. A longer clip or a different model changes it.
