Scriptr for teams

Writers’ rooms, production companies, studios and schools use Scriptr with shared projects, roles and review.

Teams use the same Scriptr as everyone else: one project per film, with the people working on it invited in. What changes is how many people, how many projects, and how the account is set up and paid for.

What a team gets

  • Shared projects. Story, Script, Characters, Places, Whiteboards and Production live together in one project, for everyone in it.
  • Roles. Each person can edit or view. See Viewer vs Editor access.
  • Private by default. Nothing is visible outside the people you invite.
  • Review. Share takes and versions for time-coded feedback with people outside the project. See Sharing a take or draft for review.
  • Ownership. You keep ownership of your screenplays, stories, characters and anything you upload. See Who owns your work.
  • No lock-in. Export PDF, Word, Fountain, plain text and Markdown on every plan, with no watermark.

Setting up a team

Teams & Enterprise accounts are set up with us. Tell us about your team on the Teams & Enterprise page and we will work out the right setup with you. See Bringing your organisation to Scriptr.
