Redeeming a gift
Open the gift email, sign in or create an account, and confirm. On Free, the gift starts at once; on a paid plan, it starts when your current period ends.
Redeem it
- Open the gift email and choose the link to redeem.
- Sign in to Scriptr, or create an account. Any sign-in method works.
- Confirm.
When it starts
- On Free: the full gift term, a month or a year, starts when you redeem it.
- On a paid plan: you can redeem it now. Its prepaid term is queued and starts when your current paid period ends. Settings shows when.
When it ends
A gift never renews and never asks for your card. When it ends, your account returns to the plan it was on, or to Free, and everything you made is kept. See What happens to your work when a plan ends.
Once only
A gift can be redeemed once. After that, its link says it has already been claimed.
