Voice Studio
A voice for every character, and their lines heard in Script and Production.
- What is Voice Studio?Voice Studio gives each character one voice of their own, so you can hear their dialogue in Script and Production.
- Opening Voice Studio from a characterOpen a character’s profile, then Open Voice Studio, Choose a voice or Create a voice in their Voice section.
- Choosing a voiceBrowse the voice library, filter by accent, age and quality, and play samples before you audition a voice on a line.
- Auditioning voicesAdd voices to Compare, give them a line, and hear each one perform it before you cast the character.
- Creating a voice from a descriptionDescribe how the character sounds and Voice Studio creates three versions to choose from. Stop at any time and nothing is created.
- Comparing performancesHear the same line in several voices side by side, retry a take that failed, and choose the voice the character keeps.
- Using screenplay dialogueAudition voices on the character’s real lines, and play their dialogue in Script once they have a voice.
- Generating custom speechType a test line and hear it in a voice. Test lines are never added to your screenplay.
- Saving and changing a voiceChoose one voice for a character, change it later, or undo straight away. Takes are kept separately.
- Reusing voices in ProductionProduction uses each character’s saved voice when you preview scenes, shots and takes.
- Voice credits and usageNew speech uses your plan’s monthly generation allowance, separate from Co-writer credits. Replays and library samples are free.
- Troubleshooting Voice StudioWhat Voice Studio’s messages mean, and what to do when a voice, sample or take doesn’t work.
