Reusing voices in Production
Production uses each character’s saved voice when you preview scenes, shots and takes.
A character’s voice follows them into Production. There is no second copy to keep in step: Production reads the voice saved on the character.
Where you hear it
- Production Home: character previews include their voice.
- Shot Studio: dialogue in a shot can be heard in the character’s voice beside the shot.
- Review: collaborators can comment on a voice audition, and comments reach your Inbox.
Changing the voice
Change the voice on the character, and Production uses the new one from then on.
Characters without a voice
They work fully in Production; their lines just have no voice preview. Choose Open Voice Studio on their profile to give them one.
Production’s scenes, shots and takes are part of Director. See What Production is.
