What Production is

Production is where the scenes of your screenplay become shots. Plan scenes and shots, and let Co-writer propose coverage.

Production continues the film from the page. It is organised as scenes, each with its shots.

Scenes

A Production scene is usually one of your screenplay’s scenes, brought across from the Script. You can also create a Production scene that is not in the screenplay, for example a pickup or an insert.

Shots

Each scene holds the shots that will cover it. A shot has a name and a planning note for anything Production needs that the Script does not say.

Co-writer in Production

Ask Co-writer to explore coverage for a scene. It proposes shots, and nothing is added until you accept them.

Image and video generation

Generating images and video for shots is not available yet. Shot Studio currently runs in a preview mode that creates no real media and charges nothing.
