Moving from screenplay to Production

Bring a scene across

1. Open Production for the project.
2. Under From the Script, choose the scenes to bring across. When every scene has been brought across, Scriptr says so.

You can also open a scene’s ⋯ menu in the Script outline and choose Open in Production. That opens Production; it does not create anything by itself.

Staying linked

A Production scene keeps a link to its screenplay scene:

• If you rewrite the scene, Production shows Script changed so you can review your shots.
• If you delete the scene from the Script, Production shows Script scene missing. Your Production work is kept.
• Moving scenes or changing a heading does not break the link.

Add shots

Open a scene and add shots, or ask Co-writer to propose them. Shots are yours to rename, reorder and annotate.
