- Introducing ToolsTools is the keyboard-first way to act on the page: format a line, add a scene, jump to a chapter, link a character or ask Co-writer.
- Opening Tools with ⌘K or Ctrl+KPress ⌘K on a Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows. Tools opens with the scene or chapter you are in, and any selection, already attached.

- Using Tools in StoryStory’s Tools shape prose: paragraphs, headings, chapters, linked characters and places, and Co-writer requests for a passage.
- Using Tools in ScriptScript’s Tools set screenplay elements, add and find scenes and acts, link the story world, and focus Co-writer on a scene.
- Formatting and navigation toolsChange a line’s element or style, and move through scenes, acts and chapters, without leaving the keyboard.
- Character and place actionsCreate, mention, reference and open characters and places from Tools, so the writing and the story world stay linked.
- Keyboard shortcutsThe shortcuts for Tools, the editor, Whiteboard and Production in one list.
- Tools and Co-writerTools act on the page at once. Co-writer is an assistant you ask; its changes arrive as proposals you accept or dismiss.
