Opening Voice Studio from a character

Open a character’s profile, then Open Voice Studio, Choose a voice or Create a voice in their Voice section.

Voice Studio always opens for one character, because a voice belongs to a character.

From the profile

  1. Open Characters and choose the character.
  2. Find the Voice section. It shows the character’s voice, or says they don’t have one yet, for example Dappy doesn’t have a voice yet.
  3. Choose Open Voice Studio, Choose a voice or Create a voice.

Voice Studio opens as a workspace titled with the character’s name, such as Benjamin’s voice. The breadcrumb shows the way back: project, Characters, the character, Voice Studio.

From a preview

Hover a character’s name in Story or Script, click to pin the preview, and choose Open Voice Studio.

On Free

A character’s Voice section shows a preview of Voice Studio with Unlock Voice Studio, which opens the plans in Settings.

Who can open it

Anyone with access to the project can listen. Choosing or changing a voice needs edit access. Groups of characters, such as a crowd, don’t have a single voice.
