Voice credits and usage
New speech uses your plan’s monthly generation allowance, separate from Co-writer credits. Replays and library samples are free.
What uses your allowance
Voice Studio is part of Writer and Director. Generating new speech uses your plan’s monthly generation allowance, which is separate from your Co-writer credits:
- performing a line, from the Script or your own;
- creating voice versions from a description.
Usage is measured by the speech generated.
What never uses it
- Playing library samples.
- Replaying a performance or a take you already have.
- Choosing, saving or changing a character’s voice.
- A take that fails: Nothing was used.
- Stopping voice creation before it finishes.
Before you generate
Before larger generations, Scriptr shows what they will use, so nothing is a surprise.
Your balance
Settings → Plan & usage shows your generation allowance, what you have used this month and when it resets. See Checking your usage.
