Renaming a project and changing its appearance

Rename a project

1. Select ⋯ beside the project in the sidebar.
2. Type the new name in the name field at the top of the menu.
3. Press Enter. Press Esc to cancel.

You can also rename a project in Project details…, where you will find the same name field.

Change its appearance

1. Select ⋯ beside the project, then Appearance.
2. Choose one:
   • an icon from Scriptr’s set,
   • an emoji,
   • an image of your own (Choose image).
3. Choose a colour for the icon.

The appearance shows wherever the project appears in Scriptr: the sidebar, the Projects library and Project Home.

Good to know

• Images you upload for a project are stored privately with the project.
• A project’s format (screenplay or prose) is shown in Project details but cannot be changed: a project keeps the format it was created with.
