Understanding Project Home

Project Home is the front page of a project: where you begin, and where you move between Story, Script, Co-writer, Whiteboard and import.

Selecting a project opens its Project Home. It is where a project starts and where you come back to find your way around it.

Begin anywhere

Project Home offers the ways into the film. Every path stays connected to the same film:

  • Story to write in prose.
  • Script to write the screenplay.
  • Develop with Co-writer to think the film through in conversation.
  • Whiteboard to think visually.
  • Import to bring in existing work.

Story and Script are created the first time you open them, so a new project contains nothing you did not ask for.

The logline

A project can have a logline: one or two sentences about the film, up to 600 characters. It is the project’s description wherever Scriptr shows one.

Moving around

The sidebar lists each project’s spaces, with its scenes or chapters underneath. You can return to Project Home at any time by selecting the project’s name.
