Co-writer isn’t responding
What to check when Co-writer stops, says your credits are used, or a proposal won’t apply.
“You’ve used this month’s Co-writer credits.”
Your plan’s allowance for the month is used. Your writing stays fully available. Credits return at the start of next month, or upgrade for a larger allowance. See Co-writer credits.
Nothing happens when I choose a tool
Co-writer tools prepare a request in the composer; they don’t send it. Check the composer and choose Send. See Tools and the Co-writer dock.
It keeps thinking
Co-writer needs an internet connection. While it works, Send becomes Stop: choose it, check your connection, and send again. Stopping a request doesn’t change your manuscript.
A proposal won’t apply
If the passage changed after Co-writer proposed an edit, for example because you or a collaborator kept writing, the proposal may no longer fit. Choose Try again for a fresh proposal based on the text as it is now.
Still stuck?
Write to hello@scriptr.co with the project and roughly when it happened.
