Can I use Scriptr for free?

Yes. Free includes one project, Story, Script, Characters and Places, a Whiteboard with Scene Cards, Co-writer Lite, sharing and export.

What is Co-writer Lite?

Co-writer Lite is the introductory Co-writer experience included with Free. It reads your project, answers questions about it and proposes changes you accept or decline, with a limited amount of usage each month. See Co-writer usage.

What’s the difference between Writer and Director Co-writer?

Both can use the supported Extended models. Director includes more monthly usage.

What happens if I reach my Co-writer usage limit?

The next Co-writer request is unavailable until your usage resets at the start of the month, or until your account moves to a plan with a higher allowance. Your writing, and everything else in Scriptr, keeps working.

Does Director include unlimited AI generation?

No. Director includes extended usage across Co-writer models, voice generation and image generation, within its monthly allowance. It also includes $50 of free Production usage. Video generation beyond that is metered separately, and its cost is shown before it runs. See Generation and what it costs.

Will downgrading delete my work?

No. Your manuscripts, projects, branches, Whiteboards and Production work are kept. Higher-plan actions, and creating more than the new plan allows, are restricted. A downgrade or cancellation takes effect at your renewal date. See What happens to your work when a plan ends.
