Using Scriptr on mobile
On a phone, Scriptr opens in a read-only review mode. You can read, share and export, but writing and creating happen on a computer.
Scriptr is built for a computer. When the screen is narrower than 760 pixels, as it is on most phones, Scriptr switches to review mode and shows Read-only on mobile.
What you can do in review mode
- Open your projects and read your writing.
- Look at your Characters & Places.
- Share a project and export your writing.
What needs a computer
- Writing or editing Story and Script.
- Creating projects, characters, places and boards.
Review mode never changes what you are allowed to do in a project. It only hides the tools for writing and creating.
Tablets
Scriptr decides by the width of the window, not by the device. A tablet with a wide enough screen gets the full workspace.
